The first weekend in February is the annual Polar Plunge in Virginia Beach to raise money for Special Olympics. If you would like to plunge, go to the link and learn more about this crazy event. 28 Dec 2005 Basketball skills, half-court and Cheerleading are about to start!

Everybody is eagerly awaiting the start of basketball season! Approximately 25 athletes have signed up to participate in skills, 30 in half-court and 15 for cheerleading! This year we'll be having two separate half-court practice sessions. Four teams will practice from 4-5:00 and four will practice from 5-6:00. Patti will be calling to let you know the session you should attend. Get those basketballs pumped up!

Approximately 200 people showed up to the dinner dance at Stuart Middle School on December 10th. We had a wonderful time! Check out the photo gallery to see who was all on the dance floor!

The 2005-2006 Sports sign-up sheets have been sent out to all athletes who are currently on file. Please return your sign-up sheet as soon as possible so we can plan for our seasons. 14 Jul 2005 We'll Miss you Nancy

Nancy Daughtry died Monday, July 11, 2005. She was 51 years old. Nancy participated in swimming skills, bowling, volleyball skills, track and field and basketball skills. She was a sweetheart! She always came in with a smile on her face and open arms for a hug. We're going to miss her! Nancy lived at the Presbyterian Group Home in Waynesboro with her close family of friends. She was retired from Vector Industries after 30 years of service.
